DNA markers to be used to secure UK's transport of ATM cassettes

CBR Online: Applied DNA Sciences, a provider of DNA-based security products, has announced that it will supply SigNature DNA markers to a UK-based customer for distributing them to a multinational cash-in-transit service provider. Cash-in-transit businesses transport and store cash and ATM cassettes. In the UK, an estimated £500bn ($588 billion) is transported each year, roughly £1.4bn ($2.7 billion) a day.
