Wincor Nixdorf solution optimizes cash for banks, credit unions
December 9, 2007
PADERBORN, Germany —Wincor Nixdorf Internationalis expanding its portfolio for optimizing cash processes at bank branches with a new version of its cash-management software, ProCash Analyzer.
The company says the software ensures cash availability and cost-optimized filling of all bank and credit-union cash points. The software solves complex challenges — for example, the optimization of cash holdings in branch safes — by processing a large number of variables. Moreover, the ProCash Analyzer calculates the ideal disposal and supply cycles for cash-recycling machines.
The new version, ProCash Analyzer 3.0 based on ILOG CPLEX, also ensures end-to-end optimization of all network cash points, such as ATMs, teller positions, cash-recycling machines and branch safes. There is a special focus on cash logistics, such as different replenishment and disposal concepts that incorporate multiple cash-in-transit operators. The solution is rounded out by support for order management — for example, the current status of an order can be shown at any time — plus account reconciliation and extensive reports.
