SortLogic, Avalon expand software agreement

LAS VEGAS - Plano, Texas-based SortLogic Systems, a division of Omni-Soft Inc., and Norcross, Ga.-based Avalon International Inc., have signed an expansion agreement for Check 21 capabilities.
Under the expanded agreement, Avalon International will integrate and resell the SortLogic Simulator, SortLogic Desktop Evaluator and SortLogic Virtual Capture software components, providing users of IBM CPCS and SuperMICR with the ability to leverage check processing investments, while migrating toward electronic clearing and image exchange.
Avalon will integrate SortLogic components with its ImagePoint payment processing system, which provide a comprehensive, integrated solution for front- and back-counter branch capture, merchant capture, remote deposit capture, check image exchange, long-term Meta Data storage, image archive, duplicate checking and remittance processing.
