NRT, IBM and Wincor Nixdorf change casino customer service

PADERBORN, Germany - Canada's NRT Technology Corp. and Wincor Nixdorf International have developed a self-service solution for casinos with services and support from IBM. The three partners have signed a framework agreement for 2,000 systems over the next three years. The first units have been delivered and installed in Macao, one of the fastest -rowing gaming markets in the world. According to a news release, the next-generation Casino ATM boasts an array of new features and is expected to generate gaming benefits, including reduced costs, increased revenues and improved customer experience. NRT's QuickJack and QuickJack2 machines dispense cash and tickets, as well as allow users to pay invoices, exchange foreign currency, and redeem coupons and/or vouchers. The core of the solution is a Wincor Nixdorf ATM with a monitoring system from NRT for the entire network.
The first QuickJack generation was launched in 2002. Since then, NRT has become the leading supplier of gaming ATM systems. NRT technology is used by more than 350 casinos in Canada, the United States and in countries in Asia-Pacific and Europe.
Wincor Nixdorf has supplied more than 2,500 ATMs to IBM and NRT.

Wincor Nixdorf, IBM and NRT have also collaborated to develop a new casino terminal, the "Quick Jack 2, which provides a compact footprint, increased capacity, a larger screen, an advanced customer interface, a second video topper for advertising, and an expanded range of applications, including event ticketing.
