Livewire, Tranax partner on ticketing kiosk deployment

FREMONT, Calif. - Livewire International Inc., provider of self-service document-delivery systems, and Tranax Technologies Inc. have partnered to provide new self-service ticketing kiosks to Any Mountain stores, a California-based outdoor retailer.

"We are delighted to be partnering with Tranax Technologies, a pioneer in high-value, self-service kiosks with a strong record of enabling retail stores and financial institutions to serve their customers better, faster and in more ways," said David McCracken, president of Livewire. "We are proud to provide Any Mountain with a network of self-service kiosks that will be placed in each of the retailer's six Bay Area locations," said McCracken. "These kiosks will allow skiers and snowboarders to purchase discounted tickets ahead of time, skip the long lines at area ski resorts and have more time for skiing."

According to a news release, the new machines also dispense coupons, cross-promote ski facilities, and offer discount tickets to Lake Tahoe ski resorts, such as Sugar Bowl, Heavenly, Kirkwood, and Diamond Peak.
