French Bank aids Libyan ATM network

ePaynews: Libya's Sahara Bank is to launch a debit card and a domestic ATM network with help from French bank BNP Paribas. Initially, Sahara Bank will roll out 12 ATMs across its branch network. In October 2007, BNP Paribas formed a strategic partnership with Sahara Bank, with the goal of helping the Libyan firm modernize its systems and become an international bank. The first fruit of this partnership is a new organizational structure which is being put in place at Sahara Bank.
