Wincor supplies financial kiosks in India

PADERBORN, Germany - Wincor Nixdorf International, through its partner AGS Infotech, is supplying up to 10,000 kiosk systems to Reliance Money Ltd., an Indian financial-services provider.
AGS Infotech is based in Mumbai and specializes in information-technology solutions for retail and banking.
According to a news release, R-Money expects to allow its customers to access its transaction portal via the kiosks, allowing online share-trading, among other things.
Around 2,500 of the systems, which are based on Beetle systems, have already been installed. The remaining kiosks are expected to be installed over the next few months.
"As part of our development strategy for Asia, we view India as a market of growing importance," said Lim Khoon Hong, president of Wincor Nixdorf Asia.
