'White-label' ATMs on rise in Canada

TorontoStar: Canadian banks operated 16,190 ATMs last year, reflecting only a slight increase from 2004, according to recent surveys. But the overall number of ATMs in the country has grown, thanks to the increased deployment of "white-label" ATMs. The country's total number machines in 2005 hit 51,097, up from 42,773 machines in 2000.
