Wells Fargo rolls out NCR Scalable Deposit Module

According to My Bank Tracker, Wells Fargo has begun deploying NCR Corp.'s Scalable Deposit Module (SDM)-equipped ATMs in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Nevada. The ATMs will have the ability to deposit bills and paper checks through a single slot, in addition to being envelope-free.

"With SDM, we have built a new solution that is even more intuitive and simple for consumers," said Michael O'Laughlin, senior vice president of NCR Financial Services.

NCR Corp. is the first ATM manufacturer to offer this solution in the United States.
