Visa card-present fraud sinks 80 percent in years since EMV migration

Visa has seen continued growth in the number of chip cards and chip-enabled merchants since the EMV liability shift in October 2015, the company said in a recent press release. 

At the same time, Visa has experienced a sharp decline in counterfeit fraud, the company said.
