U.K. village to get first ATM

North-West (England) Evening Mail: Last summer the Royal Mail pledgedto install 1,500 free ATMsin branches throughout theUnited Kingdomover the next five years. Under an agreement with its financial-services partner, the Bank of Ireland, the Post Office is now installing around 10 ATMs a week. Now thevillageofBootle, part ofLiverpool's urban area, is slated to get its first ATM. Until then, customers will continue to withdraw money over the counter.
