Tuesday webinar to present EMV migration strategies for ATM acquirers, processors

On Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 11:00 a.m. EST, the ATM Industry Association will host a webinar to help ATM acquirers and processors prepare for the U.S. migration to EMV chip card technology. 

"EMV Migration Strategies for ATM Acquirers and Processors" will feature presentations by Deborah Spidle, director of EMV solutions from Paragon Application Systems and Mansour-Aaron Karimzadeh, managing director of Smart Commerce Intl. and chief technology officer of the EMV Academy.

The webinar will examine a number of EMV-related topics:

  • the global impact of EMV;
  • key decisions that acquirers and processors must make before beginning an EMV project;
  • lessons learned and best practices evolved from EMV migrations in the U.K. and Canada;
  • A high-level comparison of magnetic stripe and EMV technology and transactions.

The webinar is free for ATMIA members. For non-members the cost is $95. Registration is currently open online.
