Triton Systems of Delaware, LLC announced yesterday that customers can order new Triton ATMs online.
Buyers log on to the Triton.com website and select an ATM model. They also can choose options and accessories to customize the machine. The Long Beach, Miss.-based manufacturer is offering accessories such as security alarms and topper signage.
Triton launched online ordering to keep up with its customers.
"Our customer base is accustomed to doing much of their business through the web interface," said James Philips, Triton vice president of sales and marketing. "We just wanted to offer this as an additional customer service option so that partners can choose to do business with use in a method that is most convenient for them."
Customers still can order ATMs over the telephone or through Triton customer service agents in the Gulf Coast Mississippi area.
Triton rolled out online ordering as the manufacturer nears a milestone in its 30-year history. The company expects to ship its 200,000th ATM some time in 2010.
Triton also is planning a drawing to give that unit away. Each Triton ATM purchased between now and the production of the 200,000th unit will serve as an entry into a drawing to win a full-featured RL2000 ATM, a low-cost retail machine. The RL2000, which will be loaded with a variety of extras, is valued at $10,000.
