Triton demos simulator system for ATMs
April 19, 2007
LONG BEACH, Miss. - Triton Systems demonstrated a new product that allows ATMs to be used as offline cash dispensers.
According to a news release, Triton Closed Loop, a host-simulator system, was demonstrated for Triton's independent sales organizations and value-added retailers during Triton's distributors' conference earlier this month.
"This revolutionary new product is perfect for businesses that need to dispense a great deal of cash but need more accountability and security than what a vault or cash drawer can offer," said Triton president Brian Kett. "With TCL, a pay-day-loan company could issue cards and send their customers to the ATM rather than handing out large quantities of cash."
Triton says it's already received inquiries about the new product from the waste-recycling industry, loan-advance and check-cashing companies, and the gaming industry.
