Tranax releases Mini-Bank 1700
February 20, 2007
ORLANDO, Fla. - Tranax Technologies Inc. announced the launch of its next generation in the Mini-Bank ATM line, the Mini-Bank 1700. Designed and manufactured by Tranax, the ATM will be marketed to the entry-level retail ATM market, the company said.
The 1700 is the second ATM Tranax has manufactured on its own.
"It offers all of the features of a higher-end machine and raises the bar on quality, engineering and design in a smaller footprint," said Dr. Hansup Kwon, Tranax's president.
The 1700 is Triple-DES and ADA compliant, and Tranax touts its modular design, which reportedly makes maintenance easier. The 1700 also may be equipped with an electronic lock.
It has a sliding cash dispenser, an 800-note fixed cassette, and an optional 1,700-note removable cassette. The 1700 includes a dip reader, and is based on the ARM-7 32-bit CPU and comes with 32MB RAM memory.
Tranax said it will unveil the ATM Feb. 20-23 during ATMIA Conference East in Orlando, Fla.
