South Carolina credit union deploys Diebold ATMs

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - South Carolina Federal Credit Union has partnered with North Canton, Ohio-based Diebold Inc. for the deployment of advanced functionality ATMs.
According to a news release, Diebold has created the ATMs to handle the bank's bulk cash and checks. In addition, Diebold's ImageWay software has enabled the ATMs to capture two-sided images of checks as they are deposited into the terminal; checks will be validated at the ATM and transmitted electronically to the credit union for processing.
"Enhanced ATM technology brings greater convenience to members who want fast, secure ATM deposits, 24/7 deposit flexibility, and added confidence that those deposits are accurate," said Beth Jaskiewicz, senior vice president of marketing for South Carolina Federal Credit Union.
