Regions earns accolades for financial planning

Regions Private Wealth Management has received the 2026 Datos Impact Award for Best Innovation in Financial Planning, according to a press release.

The annual award, presented by research and advisory firm Datos Insights, recognizes financial institutions and solution providers for industry innovation and demonstrated business impact. Datos selected Regions for its planning-first model, which integrates comprehensive wealth planning into client relationships while using technology to streamline advisor workflows.

"A wealth plan is much more than a document. It's a roadmap that helps clients understand where they are, where they want to go and the choices that can help them get there," Leslie Carter-Prall, head of Regions Private Wealth Management, said in the release.

The bank's wealth planning model addresses complex financial needs for high-net-worth clients, including retirement readiness, tax strategies, business succession, charitable giving, wealth transfer, and multigenerational planning.

Over the past year, Regions has invested in technology tools to give advisors faster access to detailed financial planning data, allowing them to evaluate scenarios and provide personalized guidance more efficiently.

"Pairing a deep planning culture with modern integration is what separates firms that talk about planning-led advice from firms that actually deliver it," Wally Okby, strategic advisor for wealth management at Datos Insights, said in the release.
