Rain, flooding impact India banks and ATMs

Times of India: Four days of rain and flooding have started to impact ATMs in Ahmedabad and Surat, India. Officials are worried that currency notes in chests, strong-rooms and vaults may be ruined. Some bank vaults and currency chests are in basements, with no way to access them. Losses also are expected because of computer systems and ATMs that have been affected by the deluge.
