Police break up ATM crime ring in Canada

The (Toronto) Globe and Mail: Thousands of bank customers have been defrauded of millions of dollars in one of the most elaborate ATM skimming operations ever seen in the Toronto area. Police said yesterday they had made multiple arrests and were in the process of dismantling a network of what they termed "debit-card labs."Dozens of ATMs have been compromised and investigators still are trying to assess the scope of the scam.
