In its most recent study of the European ATM market, England's Retail Banking Research Ltd. finds that off-premises ATM placements are growing by leaps and bounds, not only in Western Europe but in Centrail and Eastern Europe as well.
According to RBR, over the last five years, off-premises ATMs have more than doubled in Europe, with Russia experiencing the greatest growth with the addition of 7,000 new off-site ATMs in 2006 - a 42 percent rate increase from 2005.
