New multifunction ATM certified by CDS

NAVERRE, Fla. - Dallas-based Columbus Data Serviceshas certified 3dez ATM POS Services Inc.'s new, low-cost ATM. According to a news release, the new ATM can be configured to support 12 transactions, including POS transactions, check truncation, check verification, prepaid-card dispensing and bill payment.

"We have a kit available to upgrade any ATM using NCR Hawk, DeLarue 1700 and Mini Mech, Uninote and Puloon dispensers," said David Henton, president of 3dez. "Deployers entering the kiosk market and looking for multiple functionality should find our product exciting,"

The new terminal uses Global Interoperable Secure Key Exchange to meet Triple DES requirements.
