LAS VEGAS - During BAI's Retail Delivery Conference & Expo Nov. 15-16, NCR Corp. announced the release of its latest set of self-service and ATM management tools - Gasper Exchange.
According to a news release, Gasper Exchange includes three distinct efficiency tools: EJ Exchange, Software Exchange and Ad Exchange.
EJ Exchange provides remote electronic-journal retrieval for mixed-vendor ATM networks. It allows financial institutions to view EJs in multiple formats in a central location, enabling quick and easy issue-resolution. Retrieval can be automatically scheduled or occur on-demand.
Software Exchange offers the ability to remotely apply software patches and updates to an ATM network. Files such as diagnostic logs, which aid in fault-diagnosis and resolution, also can be remotely retrieved from the ATM. Software Exchange is specifically designed for the self-service environment.
And Ad Exchange, the company says, provides a flexible and cost-effective way to distribute advertising campaigns throughout an ATM network. Campaigns can be built using NCR's Aptra Promote software toolset and remotely delivered using Gasper Ad Exchange.
American National Bank of Texas, one of the oldest independently owned banks in Texas, recently completed a pilot of Gasper Exchange in the United States.
"We are implementing a new branding campaign on our ATMs with Aptra Promote, and Gasper Ad Exchange means we can get these campaigns to the ATM quicker and without incurring the cost of a site visit," said Gail Mason, vice president and director of technology for American National Bank.
