BURNABY, British Columbia - Info Touch Technologies Corp. teamed with Sunoco Inc.'s retail marketing division to set up a pilot program for self-serve automated bill payment and other financial services on touchscreen terminals at select Sunoco APlusR convenience stores in the Pittsburgh area.
According to a news release, customers can pay bills, view and update accounts, purchase prepaid products and services, and revalue or activate stored-value products.
The first deployment is expected to be completed this month.
"We are thrilled to partner with Sunoco, one of America's truly trusted brands, to expand our bill payment and financial services program," Info Touch chairman and chief executive Hamed Shahbazi said. "IFT believes that this pilot program with Sunoco presents a significant opportunity to serve the cash-preferred community with cash-based financial services, as provided by the Tio program."
