I-Design Group inks ATM ad deal with RBS

LONDON — I-design Group PLC has secured a contract to roll out ATM advertisements with the Royal Bank of Scotland PLC, according to a report filed by Thompson Media. As part of the deal, i-design says it will have exclusive rights to sell third-party advertising on about 2,500 RBS ATMs located in Tesco stores in the U.K. The rollout is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2008.
With the addition of RBS, i-design has sold ATM and software licenses for 14,800 ATMs, 44 percent of United Kingdom's banked-operated ATMs.
