First Gulf Bank launches chip-based debit card from MasterCard

Al Bawaba: First Gulf Bank, a leading bank in the UAE based in Abu Dhabi, has launched a chip-based MasterCard Worldwide debit card. The card provides heightened security and more convenience, the bank says. The new card complies with EMV. The card can be used at 25 million locations worldwide, FGB says, in addition to being used to withdraw cash at more than 1 million ATMs.
