Diebold launches portal dedicated to ATM outsourcing analysis

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - With ATM operational expenses for U.S. financial institutions approaching $3.9 billion in 2008, the case for outsourcing grows stronger every day. At least that's how Diebold Inc. sees it.
Diebold says it has launched its Outsourcing Assessment Center, an online interactive tool, to help FIs evaluate their ATM channels against industry standards to see how outsourcing can positively impact their bottom lines.
According to a news release, the Outsourcing Assessment Center, atwww.dieboldassessmentcenter.com, provides outsourcing solutions through the Diebold Integrated Services solution. Diebold Integrated Services solutions are designed to promote cost savings, realize cost certainty and service consistency, the company says
The Assessment walks visitors through three questions designed to stimulate discussion about the time and resources dedicated to managing an ATM channel.
"Through the Diebold Outsourcing Assessment Center, financial institutions can begin the process of understanding how they can decrease costs and maximize their time and resources at the ATM channel through outsourcing," said Diebold's Chuck Ducey, vice president of global product development and services.
Diebold expects to demonstrate the solution during BAI's Retail Delivery Conference & Expo in Las Vegas this November.
