DASH releases new ATM base-safe shroud for Wincor ATM

ELM MOTT, Texas — DASH ATM LP has released a new ATM security product that offers security benefits similar to the ATM sleeve it released last year.

According to DASH, the new ATM base-safe shroud is an armored shroud that fits only around the ATM's safe. Building on the experience and expertise of its Security Products division, which manufactures gun safes and doors for panic-room safes, DASH custom designed and developed the new base-safe shroud six months ago for Valero Energy Corp., a retail/convenience-store chain.

DASH's solution is being used on Valero's Wincor Nixdorf ProCash 1500 ATMs in North Texas. And through Valero's recent acquisition of Albertson's, DASH's Mike Adams says DASH is in the process of designing a new ATM sleeve for the NCR Personas 77 ATM line, which Albertson's has deployed.
