Collis validation module gets MasterCard thumbs up

LEIDEN, Netherlands — Collis, provider of transaction-processing and testing services, has announced that MasterCard Worldwide has qualified Collis' new card personalization validation module, which is part of the Collis' EMV validation tool.

Professional testing of personalized MasterCard EMV/PayPass cards is essential to ensure worldwide acceptance of cards, Collis says. The new module ensures that MasterCard cards are personalized to meet MasterCards' CPV specifications.

"We are pleased that the tool offered by Collis, a recognized player in the chip testing market," said Christian Delporte, head of chip-product development at MasterCard. "This qualification offers a test tool available to MasterCard issuers to prepare the formal card personalization validation session."
