Chinese banks use ATMs to meet consumer demands
July 10, 2007
China Daily:China is now the world's third-largest ATM market, but the country still has room for growth. In China, there are only about 40 ATMs per every 1 million people. In the United States, there are 40 ATMs per every 1,300 people. As more foreign banks are set to enter China, Chinese banks will be increasingly competing on services, and ATMs are seen as a way of attracting and retaining customers.
