MILWAUKEE - Metavante Corp., a subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corp., has signed a core-processing services deal with Chicago-based Corus Bank, the wholly owned banking subsidiary of Corus Bankshares Inc.
According to a news release, the bank will use the Metavante Integrated Banking Solution to incorporate customer relationship management, data warehousing, and EFT and card services. Corus Bank also expects to deploy Metavante's integrated electronic-banking and bill-payment solutions to enhance its online banking capabilities. "The scalability of Metavante's banking solutions also played a big role in our decision to return to Metavante's Integrated Banking Solution. We've experienced significant growth over the years and needed a core processing system that can support our data processing needs for the future," said Robert J. Glickman, president and chief executive of Corus Bank. Corus Bank uses Metavante's VisionIP: Check 21, for check imagining as well as Positive Pay and Internet Positive Pay for enhanced check-fraud detection.
