Canadian FIs say most ATMs are free

Financial Post: The head of the Canadian Bankers Association on March 22 disputed claims that ATM fees are making Canada's banks rich. Citing ATM statistics, the head of the association suggested that most Canadians don't pay fees on ATM transactions. March 22 marked the kick off of hearings Canada's MPs plan to hold regarding the fees banks charge for ATM use.
