DAYTON, Ohio — BECU, Washington State's largest credit union and the nation's fourth largest credit union, has purchased 50 of NCR's newly-introduced NCR SelfServ ATMs. The new ATM line is characterized by so-called intelligent "no envelope" deposit technology.
The deal also includes NCR's Gasper Vantage management tools for the remote management of the ATM network, APTRA Edge software and services. The new order will add to BECU's existing network of approximately 150 NCR ATMs.
"We are very excited that BECU members will be among the first in the nation to experience this new generation of ATMs," said Shirley Taylor, Virtual Banking Channel manager for BECU.
The new NCR SelfServ range was formally introduced to the marketplace last week, with testing taking place over the past several months. It comes on the heels of NCR's Personas ATM family, which the company claims is the most widely deployed ATM in the world.
"NCR recognizes BECU as an innovator in providing excellent service to its members across all channels: at the branch, ATM, telephone or Internet," said Brian Bailey, NCR vice president of Financial Industry Marketing. "Our partnership and implementations of Intelligent Deposit technologies is another example of how BECU is bringing choice and 24/7 convenience to the consumers of the Seattle metro area."
