ATMs with wireless connectivity show strong growth

Cellular-News: While global shipments of POS and ATM terminals are expected to increase by about 50 percent over the next five years, the number of cellular-embedded modules that are used to connect those terminals to financial institutions will increase approximately five-fold in the same period. According to ABI Research, the industry is showing strong growth trends toward equipping POS and ATM terminals with cellular connectivity.
