ATM USA, LLC has signed a contract to manage and deploy ATMs for a Jacksonville, Fla.-based credit union, said Randy Locklier, who handles business development for ATM USA.
ATM USA, which is based in Morrisville, N.C., deployed 10 Nautilus Hyosung 5000 CE cash dispensers at off-premises sites for Healthcare Cooperative Credit Union, which serves healthcare professionals throughout the state, Locklier said. The Nautilus Hyosung machines were installed in hospitals from Jacksonville to Miami, he added.
In addition, the ATM ISO in August signed a 36-month management contract with the credit union to provide first- and second-line maintenance and monitoring. In addition, ATM USA will manage cash replenishment and process transactions.
The company also will manage seven Diebold Inc. ATMs deployed in the credit union’s branches. Some of the Diebold Opteva machines accept deposits while others do not, said Locklier.
The credit union, which was founded more than 50 years ago, has more than 20,000 members, including physicians, nurses, dental practitioners and veterinarians.
Rose Gunter, Healthcare Cooperative’s president and CEO, said the credit union wants 99 percent uptime with its ATMs while reducing costs.
“We’re really excited about this contract. It highlights our capabilities with credit unions and helps us move into the Florida market,” Locklier said.
