November 27, 2007
LONDON - Alaric Systems, supplier of payments and fraud-detection solutions for the card-payments industry, has signed a full-use distribution agreement with Oracle Corp., one of the world's largest enterprise-software companies.
Alaric, which has been a member of the Oracle Partner Network since January 2001, is now authorized to resell Oracle-database licenses and services with its software applications.
According to a news release, Alaric now has access to Oracle's products and solutions, which are expected to generate additional growth for London-based Alaric. The deal also facilitates the use of Oracle's education and technical services.
"This creates an important new dimension to our business," said Martin Hewgill, who oversees marketing at Alaric. "Oracle is a brand which is known throughout the world, and this new agreement means that Alaric's customers will benefit from a single source of supply for Alaric applications and their Oracle databases, simplifying license agreements and streamlining implementation."
