Triton's new retail ATM is first for company since '07
Triton's new RL1600 is touted for its compact design, and its price.

Daryl Cornell, who joined Triton at the end of 2007 and replaced Bill Johnson as general manager last year, says he does not see the new RL1600 ATM competing with any ATMs in the Nautilus Hyosung line.
"They are both dual brands in the market," Cornell said. "This new machine will be marketed to the U.S. and Canada (only), and it's an entry-level, standard product."
The RL1600 is the first ATM Triton has released to the market since it launched its RL2000 in late 2007.
"The RL2000 is too robust for the $2,000 market," Cornell said. "We feel this new model compares with our competitors' products, in the less-expensive end of the market." The new RL1600 is expected to go into production this month.
The compact design offers a color display, TCP/IP communication capabilities, a Windows operating system, and comes standard with a 60mm printer, a UL 291 business hours cabinet, the Talaris MiniMech cash dispenser and a customizable back-lit mid-topper.
