Ask the Experts: Self-service bill-payment drives traffic, revenue

TIO Networks Corp., an expedited bill-payment processor whose offerings include self-service kiosks for the retail environment, recently reached a milestone — the company has added 5,000 new transaction endpoints to its bill-payment network, bringing its total number of endpoints to more than 18,000.  TIO also recently announced a partnership with Coinstar Inc. to deploy its kiosks in as many as 50 current Coinstar locations as part of a pilot program.
 
Here, TIO's founder and cheif executive, Hamed Shahbazi, offers insight on the ways in which a self-service bill-payment platform can help retailers operate more efficiently.
