Wincor Nixdorf AG, the world's second-largest ATM manufacturer based on annual shipments, today announced that it has joined the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) as a global sponsor.
"This is the first time Wincor has joined our global sponsors so it is very significant, indicative that they have climbed the rankings to the top echelon and developed trust in our global outreach," said Mike Lee, ATMIA CEO. "The agreement means ATMIA can provide opportunities for significant international branding as well as exposure at our conferences around the world."
Wincor Nixdorf's relationship with ATMIA will increase the quality of the organization's conferences in the United States, Europe and South Africa, Lee said.
Uwe Krause, Wincor Nixdorf's director of global marketing, said the Paderborn, Germany-based manufacturer looks forward to a fruitful partnership and to benefiting from ATMIA's industry know-how.
"The global network and focus on the self-service delivery channel will continue to drive Wincor Nixdorf to maintain and expand its position as the leading innovator in our sector," Krause said.
As part of the agreement, Flora Hamilton, executive director of ATMIA Europe, has been invited to speak at Wincor World, which is being held January 25-27 in Paderborn. Other ATMIA global sponsors include Nautilus Hyosung, GRG Banking, Diebold Inc. and NCR Corp.
