Wincor ATMs get new anti-skimming device

(New Zealand) TVNZ:Wincor Nixdorf International, one of New Zealand's largest ATM suppliers, says it expects to exclusively import a new device designed to foil skimming attempts. Wincor partner Task Transactions Ltd. of Auckland, New Zealand, which provides transaction-based products and services, says the new device protects ATMs with an electromagnetic field. Task Transactions has installed more than 400 Wincor ATMs that use the electromagnetic technology ATMs for two of the country's major banks.
