VeriFone gets Visa, MasterCard certification for contactless system

The Green Sheet: Visa U.S.A. and MasterCard Worldwide have certified VeriFone's QX100 for contactless payments on Visa Contactless and MasterCard PayPass. The QX100 is an external contactless-card acceptance device.
