ONTARIO, Calif. - Salt Lake City International Airport has renewed its ATM partnership for another five years with Co-Op Network, Delta Employees Credit Union, American Airlines Employees Federal Credit Union, Western Federal Credit Union and Mountain America Credit Union for ATM operation, branding and marketing, according to a news release.
The airport is Delta Air Line's third largest hub, following Atlanta and Cincinnati, and the carrier has more employees than any airline using the airport.
"One of the reasons we originally became a Co-Op Network member more than five years ago was their allegiance to the cooperative spirit of the credit union movement," said Rick Foley, president and chief executive of Atlanta-based Delta Employees Credit Union, which holds $2.7 billion in assets. "As our joint venture in Salt Lake shows, the industry benefits when credit unions work together."
Fort Worth, Texas-based American Airlines EFCU, which holds $3.98 billion in assets, Los Angeles-based Western FCU, with $2.482 billion and Delta Employees each rank among the 20 largest credit unions in the country.
"This unique joint venture serves as a model for how credit unions from across the country with diverse memberships can partner to bring benefits to their membership," said Co-Op Network president and CEO Stan Hollen.
