TRM inks ATM-service deal with NCR

DAYTON, Ohio - Independent sales organization TRM Corp. has signed a deal with NCR Corp. for the maintenance of its 2,500 multivendor ATMs in the United States. TRM operates a large installed base of NCR EasyPoint ATMs as well as units from other vendors.
According to a news release, the three-year contract includes first- and second-line maintenance services. Earlier this year, TRM decided to move away from an in-house service model.
"This move allows TRM to focus on our core operations by turning to a dependable partner for maintenance services on TRM-operated units," said Richard Stern, chief operating officer for TRM. "Using a single partner to service these ATMs, regardless of having units from more than one vendor, is much simpler and just makes sense."
