Triton, Talaris release extended warranty on MiniMech cash dispenser for ATMs

LONG BEACH, Miss. — Triton Systems of Delaware Inc. and Talaris, a provider of cash-handling technology, have launched an extended warranty program for the MiniMech cash dispenser, which is used in many ATM makes and models.

According to a news release, Triton is now providing its ATM customers with a warranty that covers two years or 12,000 transactions when the MiniMech is purchased with a new Triton RL1600 or RL2000 ATM. Customers that purchase the MiniMech as a part or as part of a kit receive warranty coverage for 12 months or 6,000 transactions.The offer runs from June 15 until Dec. 31, 2009.

The MiniMech includes a bill tray for up to 1,000 notes and has an integral note-rejection area. The MiniMech also features Talaris' unique Intelligent Double Detection, which delivers accurate and consistent detection of doubles, even when notes are severely degraded.
