Systech, Switch Commerce offer IP-based ATM solutions

March 27, 2006

SAN DIEGO - Systech Corp., an Internet payment gateways provider, and Switch Commerce formed an alliance to convert dial-up ATM transactions to IP-based transactions.

According to a news release, Switch Commerce has integrated and certified Systech's IPG/7000 family of dial-to-IP converters for deployment to merchants moving ATM processing to the Internet.

Systech gateways convert dial-up or Ethernet-based transactions to encrypted, high-speed Internet transactions. The gateways connect both legacy and new ATMs to the Switch Commerce processing host over the Internet using SSL IP protocols.

No changes are required to the installed ATM applications.

Merchants with existing IP networks also can use the Systech solution to convert and re-route dial transactions through existing WAN links.

"Systech converters allow us to address a growing requirement within our customer base for both higher-speed, Internet connectivity and a reduction in telephony costs," Switch Commerce president Roger Myers said. "Systech helped us to successfully integrate their flexible connectivity solution into our production-ready SSL and private IP processing network."
