Sherman Irvine, 35, was charged for an alleged ATM theft in Plymouth, Trinidad and Tobago. During the incident, one of the suspects was dressed in a Batman costume, according to a report by Guardian Trinidad & Tobago.
During the incident, the suspects allegedly removed a First Citizen ATM with a backhoe. When they allegedly attempted to put the ATM onto the truck, they were unable to do so due the backhoe's damaged arm. The Batman suspect tried to lift the vault directly into the tray.
Later on, several suspects were arrested in connection with the theft, including Irvine. He is being charged with three counts of robbery, two counts of false imprisonment, three counts of malicious damage, break-in and larceny.
