Six Indian banks network ATMs for funds transfers

(Mumbai, India) Business Standard:Bank customers in India no longer have to visit a bank branch or log on to the Internet to transfer money from one account to another. Through a new deal signed by six of the country's banks, users can now transfer funds at ATMs through a shared network. This inter-bank network of 2,600 ATMs will be managed by FSSNet.
