Saudi FI signs ATM software deal with Level Four

March 8, 2006

LONDON - Saudi Arabia's Al Rajhi Bank selected Level Four Software, a provider of open standards-based ATM testing and development software, to introduce innovative services to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's largest ATM network.

Al Rajhi operates more than 1,300 ATMs, making it the largest ATM network in the Kingdom.

According to a news release, Level Four also will help the financial institution comply with regional and international regulatory mandates, including the Europay, MasterCard and Visa standard and SPAN 2, the second generation of the Saudi Payments Network.

"In order to reduce time-to-market for new functionality and improve our customers' confidence in new ATM and self-service applications, we sought a solution to automate our ATM testing cycles," said bank IT development manager Hossam Saad. "ATM Developer enables us to develop and test new ATM content from any desktop PC in the network."

EMV support within ATM Developer will enable the bank to create and edit EMV-compatible ATM configuration files, as well as provide comprehensive card interrogation.

ATM Developer provides end-to-end transaction testing from the smart card, through the ATM and up to the host system.
