Reiner releases check scanner at RD

LAS VEGAS - Reiner's RS 900 check scanner will officially be released during BAI's Retail Delivery Conference & Expo, which runs Nov. 13-15 in Las Vegas.
According to a news release, the RS 900 is designed for tellers, POS systems and remote-capture applications. It features a straight paper path (SPP) to scan ID cards and driving licenses, as well as a reading speed of 420mm/sec (16.5in/sec) and 32 MB of built-in memory for data transfer.
The scanner also comes standard with front- and rear-color cameras, an integrated MICR reader and an endorser.
