Phoenix Interactive has introduced Xpression, hardware-agnostic retail branch banking transformation software that merges self-service automation with "the intricacies of a seamless and humanized customer experience," the company said in a news release
According to Phoenix, Xpression complements in-line self-service with concierge capabilities, allowing retail banking associates to connect with and assist customers in real time as they complete transactions. This assistance can be facilitated via portable device in the branch or by means of a video-audio link that simulates.
"We've watched the industry as it grapples with transaction migration," said Phoenix founder and CEO Kyle MacDonald. "We've witnessed customer behavior where they walk directly past the ATMs in the branch lobby and walk up to a teller to conduct relatively routine, low-value transactions. ... [W]e've defined a better way to help customers on this transformational journey on how they do their day to day banking."
