Pendum opens new facilities in Ill., Colo., for better ATM service
January 12, 2009
DENVER — Pendum LLC, an independent provider of ATM solutions, has announced plans to upgrade key facilities in Illinois and Colorado.
According to a news release, the facilities enhancements are part of Pendum's strategic plan to enable more efficient service and long-term growth company-wide.
In Illinois, Pendum will relocate its Westmont armored and corporate support offices to a new armored operations center located in nearby Elmhurst, Ill. Plans also are underway to open an ATM technical center.
In Colorado, Pendum will expand its Denver call center, augmenting current technical support work and dispatching provided by Pendum, and enabling consistent national service delivery.
"We're in a great financial position to invest in our business, so now is the right time to align our people and facilities for the future," said Jim Campbell, Pendum's chief executive. "Our new operations centers and call center will provide the infrastructure and resources our employees need to improve our customer service and manage our continued growth."
Plans for the new facilities focus on enhancing Pendum's service mark, "The Value of ONE," which represents the company's ability to provide a combination of ATM sales, maintenance and armored cash services.
The new flagship ATM tech center in Illinois will serve as a high-tech training and support hub for Pendum's service technicians nationwide. The new armored location will be a fully operational vault facility that delivers armored service to customers in the area. The completed facilities will be in close proximity, allowing more integrated collaboration between Pendum's armored and maintenance teams, as well as convenient visits from customers who wish to tour both buildings.
The expanded call center will be the centerpiece of Pendum's corporate headquarters in Denver. The larger facility and technology upgrades will improve Pendum's ability to communicate with customers quickly and effectively. The centralized location will also enable consistent training of call center personnel.
Construction and relocation is expected to be completed by mid-2009. Pendum does not expect any disruptions to customer service as a result of the facilities upgrades.
